A figurative artist based in Traverse City, Michigan, I work in water media, graphite and use printmaking methods like lithography and woodcut. Inspired by German Expressionism, The School of London, Gestalt Visual Theory and what Carl Jung calls the collective unconscious, I paint and draw from life. My work explores mythology and sacred texts. I collaborate with the model, location or objects I observe. Their energy fuels my work.
