A figurative artist based in Traverse City, Michigan, I work in water media, graphite and use printmaking methods like lithography and woodcut. Inspired by German Expressionism, The School of London and what Carl Jung calls the collective unconscious, I Paint and Draw from life, building images using layered marking and expressive line. My work explores mythology And sacred texts. I create in collaboration with the people, locations or objects I observe and their energy fuels my work.
